When I was 15, I sensed the call of God on my life and responded. By 18, I could see no other reason to live. Scripture memory and a daily Quiet Time were part of my life with The Navigators, and I later served on staff with Cru. Did I really understand how the Holy Spirit worked? No. Now I see more clearly.
I became an English teacher with credentials in three states, teaching composition and literature from grade school through high school. At The University of Iowa I earned two degrees in Instructional Design and Technology (MEd and EdS) and worked as an instructional designer for college faculty.
